Terms of Service

1. What Tracer is
Tracer.deals ("Tracer," "we") is a discovery tool: it aggregates publicly listed auction and liquidation lots, estimates resale values, costs, and potential profit, and ranks them. Tracer is informational only — it never places bids, purchases, or transacts on your behalf, and it is not affiliated with the auction platforms it indexes.
2. Estimates, not guarantees
Resale values, fees, shipping, profit figures, scores, and recommended max bids are estimates derived from public marketplace data and stated retail prices. They can be wrong. Bids, prices, and end times are snapshots refreshed periodically, not live data. Always verify a listing on the source site before bidding. You are solely responsible for your purchasing decisions; we make no promise of profit.
3. Accounts
You need an account for paid features. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding contract.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed by our payment processor, Stripe — monthly or annually, auto-renewing until canceled. New subscriptions include a free trial (currently 3 days): your card is collected at signup and first charged when the trial ends. Cancel anytime from your profile ("Manage subscription"); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period already charged, and no further renewals occur. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. Prices and promotional discounts may change; changes apply from your next renewal, never retroactively to a period you already paid.
5. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no scraping, bulk-exporting, reselling, or redistributing our data or estimates; no sharing one subscription across many people; no attempting to bypass the paywall, probe, or disrupt the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
6. Third-party sites
Listings link to third-party auction sites with their own terms, fees, and rules. Your transactions on those sites are between you and them.
7. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is”without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits on items you buy or don't buy.
8. Termination
You can stop using Tracer anytime. We may suspend or end the service or your access for abuse, non-payment, or discontinuation of the product; if we discontinue paid service entirely mid-term, we'll refund the unused portion of a prepaid period.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Tracer after a change means you accept it.
